Booking terms & conditions.

Before arrival

  • All vaccinations must be up to date, and the certificate must be produced on arrival.
  • Pets should be brought in a suitable carrying basket or box, and remain the owner's responsibility until they are inside the hotel safety gate. On collection, they become the owner's responsibility again once outside the safety gate.
  • The full period of board contracted for must be paid for, and accounts settled in advance – no later than the date of arrival.
  • Admission is by prior appointment only.

During the stay

  • While we provide the highest possible standard of care, all pets and their accessories are accepted and boarded entirely at the owner's risk. Purrfect does not accept responsibility for accidents or illness during the boarding period.
  • If, in the management's judgement, a pet is sufficiently unwell, it will be taken to a veterinary hospital. Veterinary treatment is for the owner's account.
  • Medication, special diets and additional services requested are charged in addition to the boarding fee.
  • Favourite toys and your own bedding are welcome.

Fees, cancellations & refunds

  • Fees are charged per night of accommodation, and include care, accommodation and two meals daily. They exclude veterinary care, medication, special diets and additional services.
  • A 50% deposit is required when booking, with the balance due on admission. Deposits are not refundable.
  • The reservation contract is not subject to variation or cancellation. No cash refunds are made – any balance due to you, less the non-refundable deposit, is held as a credit valid for 6 months.

Collection & release

  • Pets are released only to their known owners. If a friend, relative or delivery service is collecting on your behalf, please send a letter of authority with them.
  • Pets are admitted and released by prior appointment only.
  • Pets must be collected within 2 days of the agreed boarding period lapsing. Pets not collected are regarded as abandoned and will be re-homed or transferred to a welfare organisation; any associated costs, including medical and legal costs, are for the owner's account.
